Sunday Six #3

Today this is a glimpse into a writing assignment I did in a class I took. What started as a simple idea about a can of coffee soon took on a life of it's own. One day I'll explore more of this story. Even if it's only six sentences at a time. LOL

~~
The sun’s warm rays lost their luster as she gazed down at the bullet cradled in her hand. Digging down into the can of coffee grounds, she unearthed five more siblings. A faint memory, from a past she tried to hide from, forced it’s way to the surface. She didn’t want to live like that anymore. Surviving one day to the next, hiding ammunition anywhere, and everywhere.

She wasn’t a killer anymore…was she?

Sunday Six #2

This is my second foray into the world of Sunday Six. After last week I couldn't wait for this Sunday. Reading all the other posts is just as much fun as submitting my own ;)

This is another peak into my first book Believing Is Seeing. After that second proverbial shoe dropped. LOL

“Amy, get in the house!”

Thankfully, she shook off her shocked paralysis and was running by the time Hypnos yelled in her ear. One of the creatures swooped at her, a claw just missing her cheek. She ducked and dove for the deck, landing hard on one hip. Pain shot up through the bone, stealing her breath away. The phone bounced out of her hand and skittered across the planking.

Six Sentence Sunday

Six Sentence Sunday is a blogging group started by Sara Brooks. Every week authors from all different genres post six sentences from their WIP or published works. It looks like a lot of fun and hopefully it will encourage me to keep this blog more up to date then it has been as of late.

This week I am offering a peak into my first book Believing Is Seeing

Quiet moments had become rather rare in Amy’s life as of late. With the sudden influx of not one but two men in her life, Amy spent most of her time in a daze. A rather relaxed “I just had my socks rocked off” kind of daze. The kind that can only come after having two men kiss every inch of your skin. Still, even she knew that at some point the other proverbial shoe would have to drop.

Drop it did, with a resounding thud.

It's Release Day!!

WOOHOO!!!
Caress of Fur is officially released today!!!!

Mai isn’t impressed when she discovers her friend has set her up on a surprise blind date, but a bad date is the least of her worries. She is about to discover that humans aren’t the only predators walking the streets of Toronto. Now, Mai faces two choices—returning to her safe world alone or standing up to not one but two of the most dominant men she has ever met.

Twin werewolves, Vencel and Gaspar, escaped their war-torn homeland and discovered a new home in the wilds of Algonquin Park. They never expected to find their mate in a fragile, human woman. Convincing her of their true natures proves harder than they anticipated, especially now that an old enemy has found them and is threatening to destroy their new home and family.

I'm so excited to introduce you to this new series of books. Never did I imagine when I started writing this story that the residents of a small town would have such a large impact on me. It's a small magical community outside of Algonquin Park in Northern Ontario. A place where tourists come to visit in the summer but no one suspects what really lives in the forests surrounding them. I now have an entire community demanding my attention. I can't wait for you to meet them all.

Welcome to 3xtacy Lake.
